On Wednesday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m., we look forward to welcoming you at the Tech Talent Center (c/Badajoz 73-77, Barcelona) for a new session in our annual series of conferences on architectural lighting. On this occasion, we will be joined by renowned Belgian lighting designer Sabine De Schutter, who will deliver the talk “Creative, Immersive & Sustainable: Light with Purpose.”.

Sustainable lighting design goes beyond energy efficiency: it’s about creating meaningful and immersive experiences. In this talk, Sabine De Schutter will reveal how circular thinking, material reuse, and a strong dialogue between architecture and light can result in spaces that are both emotionally engaging and environmentally responsible.

This Open Talent session will be held in English.

The speaker

Sabine De Schutter, founder and lighting designer at .

Her lighting design studio, based in Berlin and Antwerp, develops innovative and sustainable lighting concepts — from optimizing natural light to Dark-Sky-friendly solutions — with a focus on circular design and resource efficiency. A TEDx speaker and ambassador for the Women in Lighting movement, she advocates for greater visibility of women in the field. She has collaborated with leading architects such as Axel Vervoordt and Studio Aisslinger.
