The UPC School, in partnership with the , is undertake the CodiCrack project, an ambitious initiative to provide training in digital skills for more than 30,000 children, adolescents and young people previously wards of the authorities from all over Catalonia. The programme is part of the 'Digital Skills for Children (CODI)' programme of the European Union's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RTRP), through the Next Generation EU Funds.

It is therefore a funded programme, and is entirely free of charge for schools, municipal councils, libraries, digital literacy centres and associations wishing to host it.

This project reaffirms the UPC School's commitment to supporting people throughout their lives, from a very young age, while providing them with the essential tools for their personal and professional future. It makes benchmarks in the digital training sector within the framework of a European initiative.

Who is the course aimed at
  • Children and teenagers (between 9 and 17 years old)
  • Young people previously wards of the authorities (over 18 years old)
  • People with a disability up to 30 years old
What subjects are covered?
Digital Literacy

To critically evaluating information in order to make informed decisions.

Digital Security and Resilience

To protect one's own data and that of other people.

Participation and Digital Agenda

To interact equitably, participate and positively influence society using ICTs.

Emotional Intelligence

To manage one's own emotions and communicate empathetically in digital environments.

Creativity and Digital Innovation

To explore new ideas and create engaging content using ICTs.


How long does the training last?

At least 30 hours face-to-face outside school hours, spread over a maximum of 12 weeks.

Who delivers the training?

An experienced team of trainers and monitors will guide active learning, based on solving missions and challenges.

Do the participants receive a certificate?

Yes, the participants who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate attesting to their digital skills.
